The story of Charcoal Kings begins long before our name was born. In 1955, my father immigrated to Australia from Italy, carrying with him not just his suitcase, but generations of knowledge and tradition..

Back home, cooking over charcoal wasn’t just a method – it was a way of life, bringing family and friends together around simple, honest food infused with the pure flavour of fire.

Growing up, I watched my father recreate those traditions in our backyard, igniting a passion in me that would never fade. After a long and rewarding career in banking, I found myself seeking a change of pace – something real, something that connected me back to the joy of my childhood. That’s when Charcoal Kings was born.

Driven by a love for cooking over an open flame, we set out to create a business that honoured the old ways while serving the needs of modern BBQ lovers.

Today, Charcoal Kings has grown into a national brand, supplying premium fuels, BBQ grills, smoking woods and pellets, and a wide range of accessories to customers across Australia. We’ve even begun sharing our products with the world through international export, proudly flying the flag for Australian BBQ excellence.
